We don’t often see tarantulas on trees, but this one was a pleasant surprise.
There are a few different color phases to these Calotes lizards. There is none prettier than this green one in my opinion. I’ve seen about ten of these over the years on this one mountain. I hope to see more!
Some of the most beautiful flowers in the world in my opinion, are these Thailand water lilies. This one I saw outside our hotel, and since I had my macro lens with me, I very rarely shoot anything macro – but the urge hit me when I saw this flower!
Rainbows are frequent in Krabi, Thailand because we get a lot of rain between May and December each year.
My daughter running with a plumeria flower we found on the ground. She’s so fun to take photos of, but I won’t bore you with thousands of images from my computer. Though I want to…

The towers at City Center in Kuala Lumpur are pretty impressive. You know, as far as man-made things go.
This big frog hangs out at a restaurant at a remote wildlife resort in Southern Thailand. It is oblivious to people, and just sits there regardless what is going on around it.
A green seed that caught my eye for some reason. The light was magical.
I don’t ride elephants in Thailand. The breaking in period requires beating the young elephant with sharp hooks and bamboo sticks until they break it. It’s a horrifying thing to watch.

An amazing cave at a Buddhist temple in southern Thailand – Krabi.
This is a brown / yellow phase of the oriental whip snake (Ahaetulla prasina). They are thin as a pinky finger and have some venom, but are not deadly snakes. This one we woke up out of a tree while sleeping.
A young Thai-American girl.
Longtail boat after a heavy storm washed mud into the river from the mountains in Krabi.
